Now, with Star Wars: Episode VIII still around two years off from hitting theaters, it's unlikely that we'll see or hear too much in the way of concrete detail for a while yet. That, though, hasn't stopped hope from springing eternal, or hindered our eager, Star Wars-loving hearts in their endless search for more — and yet more still — information on just what we can expect to see in December 2017.

The latest snippets to seemingly arise from the sodden ashes of media silence?

Daisy Ridley And John Boyega Just Revealed Two Lines of Dialogue From 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'

Or, at least, that's what they purported to do, when asked for a brief vocal preview of Episode VIII at the recent Empire Awards.

The only problem?

They might have been messing with us...

Either that, or director Rian Johnson is concerned that Star Wars is in danger of growing stale, and so is taking it to strange new places.

So yeah, they're messing with us. Gloriously so, in fact.
