The trailer for Deepwater Horizon is here! Along with a load of new movie stills released by Summit entertainment, and the first movie poster.

The movie is set on The Deepwater Horizon oil rig which exploded during April 2010 and created the worst oil spill in U.S. history. It tells he story of the heroic men and women who saved so many lives during the world’s largest man-made disaster.

Directed by Pete Berg, with a script wriiten by Matthew Michael Carnahan and Matthew Sand. Starring Mark Wahlberg and Dylan O'Brien.

The producers of the movie contacted Mark Wahlberg and told him they wanted a screen combo with an older and younger male lead together, to his surprise, the producers wanted Wahlberg to be the older lead, with someone like Dylan O'Brien being the younger one. Over the past few years Mark Wahlberg has proved himself to be an incredible actor, and Dylan who is just staring out is proving himself in the film community too.

This will be Dylan's first time acting in such a serious drama and a documentary, the 24 year old actor currently stars on Teen Wolf and in The Maze Runner movie franchise. It will be quite interesting to see him step outside his comfort zone and into the shoes of Caleb Holloway for what looks like and insane and intense adventure.

There seems to be a pretty amazing ensemble cast making up this movie, with well known names like Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, Gina Rodriguez and John Malkovich.

Most people hear documentary and think boring, well think again. With such amazing actors, a remarkable storyline and a great director, it is highly unlikely that this movie will be anything but, spectacular.

Deepwater Horizon will be premiering on September 30th.
