Daredevil Season 2 is the third Marvel studios released Netflix series. It brings everyone's favorite crime fighting lawyer back to the screen with 13 episodes of non-stop fighting. Matt Murdock meets Frank Cassel early on this year and gives us our first taste of the Punisher. Our first taste of Frank comes without even seeing him. The first taste is through the eyes of the irish in a complete destruction of the crew. Through the first 4 episodes you start to learn a little about Frank's tragic past and why he is the way he is. At the end of the of episode 4 we get a brief taste of Elecktra. She gets Matt to join her in infiltrating a company that she believes is dirty. This is where things start to get a little hairy for the duo. They find out that the company is not infiltrated by the Yacuza like they thought but by Daredevil's largest enemy in the comics. The Hand makes a subtle appearance over the next few episodes until ultimately being revealed to be the enemy. The rest of the season we get to see some of our favorites from season 1, Fisk and Stick both play very big role this season.
I absolutely love the Punisher in this series. John Bernthal plays this dark, troubled, and hell bent character perfectly. From his little ticks that he has down to just the way he talks. I could have done without Elecktra at first but she was necessary to the season and by the last few episodes she started to grow on me.
All in all I would give this season 8 out of 10.
