Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted daughter Isabella has opened up about why her famous parents weren't invited to her Scientology wedding and has called bullshit on rumors that she is estranged from her family.
According to Isabella, Kidman and Cruise were left off the guest list for her wedding to London-based I.T. consultant Max Parker back in September for one simple reason. Although the press claimed it was because Isabella "hated" her celeb parents, the 23-year-old explained that it was actually to avoid her big day turning into a "media circus."
Isabella also rubbished rumors that she no longer speaks to either of her parents by telling The Daily Mail that:
"Of course [we talk], they're my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of s***."
Like her father Tom Cruise, Isabella is a follower of Scientology and was brought up in the church, but her new husband is not believed to practice the 'religion.'
When asked if it was difficult to not have her father around to walk her down the aisle, Isabella answered:
"Yeah. It is what it is."
The wedding itself was a relatively low key affair and was said to combine elements of Scientology with a traditional Christian wedding ceremony.
