Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sister of twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, has recently stepped into the role of Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So she's probably got a lot on her hands, what with running around with all these superheroes all the time.
Nevertheless, John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on the iconic TV series Full House and is now producing its revival Fuller House, was apparently hoping that Elizabeth would make an appearance in memory of her sisters' first ever role as Michelle. But she's got a different version of the story.
Elizabeth Olsen Didn't Get The Offer To Play Michelle
On the red carpet for her latest movie, I Saw The Light, Elizabeth Olsen said she never even got the offer to fill in for her sisters, who already turned down making a comeback on the show:
"If I did, I'm pretty sure no one on my team heard it. I don't know where that started."
She did catch the first episode of Fuller House, saying it was "great."
'We Talked To Her Agent'
A few weeks ago, John Stamos had talked about calling Elizabeth Olsen's agent, but apparently that information never made it all the way to her. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, meanwhile, reportedly refused to return as Michelle as they moved on from acting and are busy with their fashion line.
Michelle, who was alternately played by Mary-Kate and Ashley, was one of the central characters on Full House, with memorable lines such as "You got it, dude!" or "You're in big trouble, mister!"
Elizabeth Olsen is currently starring in I Saw The Light, out March 25, and Captain America: Civil War, out May 6.
