Born from the ashes of heartbreak, and fueled by circumstance and timing, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship has gone from strength to strength.

Following Blake's divorce from fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, and Gwen's gut-wrenching split from Gavin Rossdale, it's hard to image that either of them were ready dive straight back into the dating pool, so obviously they both found something truly special in each other to stoke the flames of their budding romance.

In 2014, chair-turning talent show The Voice added the former No Doubt front woman to their panel of judges, taking over from Christina Aguilera while she took time off to give birth.

The pair certainly enjoyed each other's company on-set, with Gwen posting this Instagram with Blake back in December, 2014. It's a clear sign that something was brewing...

After Gwen signed on for another season of The Voice, rumors began to whirl that perhaps some sparks were flying between the two of them, mainly due to the pair being spotted out and about, holding hands and enjoying each other's company beyond the glare of the studio lights.

Since then, the relationship has blossomed, as the pair have managed to bounce back from some of the toughest times in each of their lives. Gwen admitted that her new song "Make Me Like You" is about Blake, and her new studio album This Is What The Truth Feels Like is all about moving forward, telling Jimmy Kimmel Live:

"What's so crazy is sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful."

Blake is often seen spending time with Gwen's three boys, and Gwen has already spent time with Blake's family — so only time will tell how serious this relationship will become. But for now, both parties are reported to be inseparable, and we couldn't be happier for the pair!
