The fifth feature film staring the muppets, Muppet Treasure Island, featuring puppet legends such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear, is a childhood classic for those of a certain generation.

Amidst the strings and teflon was Kevin Bishop, who starred as Jim Hawkins, a young orphan who lived on a ship with Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat. Quite a standard upbringing, then.

Such sweet, sweet tones... I'm sure you'll agree. But what happened to Jim? The movie is now an impressive 20 years old, having been released in 1996.

The British actor was just 16 when the film was produced, with the role being his first major appearance, which must've been an incredible experience.

Now 35, Bishop has since gone on to become a well known comedian, especially in the UK, where he hosted his own self-titled sketch show, The Kevin Bishop Show.
