Bernie Sanders speaks about a 'political revolution' taking place in America at many different points throughout his campaign. And while this campaign has caught fire by many in the country, his theme relates to another figure, who this time comes from a YA book.

Fans of The Hunger Games know the struggle Katniss Everdeen and various citizens in Panem have to go through in order to achieve the ultimate goal: freedom. Bernie Sanders' message is in many ways the same as Katniss', in the sense that they both wish for change that many thought would not come and for many, is the ultimate sense of hope.

In the series, Katniss Everdeen becomes the Mockingjay: the voice of reason, the leader of the revolution. Katniss Everdeen, who is only 17 at the time of this novel, becomes the voice for thousands of citizens against the Capitol. She is the hope for many, for those who hope to achieve a peaceful world.

We can go on for hours and hours about how The Hunger Games and the real world connect, but to keep it short: Bernie Sanders is the canidate speaking about the issues for our future.

The overall message in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' has been portrayed throughout the marketing - breaking the barriers between us and uniting. Take a look at one of the posters from July 2015 used to promote the movie.

This poster uses the famous 'three finger salute' used in the series, that has sense become a figure of standing up to the Government in many countries, not to mention many other examples. Bernie Sanders' message of coming together can be reflected in the idea of uniting in The Hunger Games. Just take a look at one of his new campaign ads called "Vote Together."

Can you see the similarities already?

The crowd, however, is what the stories both have in common.

Both Katniss and Bernie Sanders have moved America in one way or another and have a crowd following them, looking to them for support.

Now, while Bernie Sanders isn't leading a revolution during a war between 12 districts and a Capitol, they both share many of the same ideas. Now, while we won't give away any spoilers, this picture, surfacing Tumblr, is very important.
