The Exploits and Adventures of a guy who loves Pixar and Marvel on a journey to becoming an Orlando-Floridian filmmaker. You think you know what I can do? Then, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Daniel's Log: This is exclusively for Moviepilot and the fans (be it of Superman, Batman or DC in general)...

The year of the heroic wars has begun with "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" which people have argued back and forth about whether it was good or bad. I myself saw it last night AND...I feel indifferent...

Why?

Well, it's bound to be an all-out super-fan war I find myself not wanting to be a part of for one thing...

I just...let the people decide for themselves on whether it's good or bad.

Is it good? I don't know, You Tell Me! Is it bad? I don't know, you tell me!

But if I can be as spoiler free as possible, the good things about it are the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman (best one I've seen but not really saying much considering I haven't seen the Tim Burton films in ages and I've yet to see the 'Dark Knight' trilogy, but I digress), Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (though the only spoiler-free flaw I have is how over the top he can be). Not to mention Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Gal Gadot (who I thought looked like Demi Lovato for some reason) as Wonder Woman...

The other things I liked about it were that The Wayne Manor looked pretty cool as did the ending fight scene (which I dare not give away) and Batman's costume where he looks like his counterpart from "The Dark Knight Returns". Also, is it me or is the head of the Daily Planet (Sorry, I forgot his name) played by James Avery (Uncle Phil from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)?

One last thing I liked about the movie was...

How they teased Aquaman, The Flash (which made me wonder if it was the same actor who plays him on the current 'Flash' TV Show) and Cyborg as of means to hype people up for the upcoming Justice League Movie.

Comment and let me know what rating you would give this movie...

Will I be seeing any other movie in the DC Cinematic Universe in the foreseeable future? As of now, just the "Wonder Woman" solo film and maybe the "Justice League" 2-parter. Will "Captain America: Civil War" be better? We'll see by May 6th. For right now and for pretty much ever, I'm just gonna let you amongst DC's legion of super-fans decide on this movie.

At this point, you may be wondering what previews I saw in theaters with "Batman v. Superman". Well, not 'Civil War' I can guarantee you that.

But really there was (as best as I can remember), the new Ghostbusters reboot in which I say, I'm sorry but nothing will ever be as good as the original film (with Bill Murray and Dan Akyroyd), Central Intelligence which...could be good, X-Men Apocalypse (Yeah...the "X-Men" franchise is complicated for me since there's so many movies in the franchise; Seriously, how many are they going to make) and last but not least, The LEGO Batman Movie which I am actually excited for. Pretty much my 4th most anticipated movie of next year (next to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Cars 3 and Thor: Ragnarok).
