I have a comic book coming out soon. I also tweet a lot about comics @KurtArthur12.

We're drinking plenty of liquids after the hangover of [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) and trying to regain our strength. I am still brimming with excitement over the thought of a Wonder Woman's solo movie and I thought the critics unfairly tore the BvS to shreds. As a fan of both Marvel and DC; I still can't get over how harsh those critiques were of a movie that was far better than what the majority of critics wrote, but still nowhere near the level of Nolan's The Dark Knight. The critics even made Ben Affleck extremely sad during an interview about the film after telling him what critics said about BvS.

This article is not about BvS, but with Captain America: Civil War approaching rapidly to theaters -- officially beginning Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Ant-Man kinda counts). We're going to look at what possible characters that one really wants to see before The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2 inflicts catastrophic damage to Earth. Also, we're going to take a gander at some characters that most likely won't make their Marvel debut until after we triumphantly take down The Mad Titan.

I am not talking about these characters headlining their own movies, but making their presence known in Marvel's MCU!

Marvel's has a plethora of characters that they can use at their disposal whenever the time seems right. This allows for greater story-telling and interesting dynamics of pairing with characters to give us the fans treats beyond our wildest dreams (like cooking dinner for Black Widow and Scarlet Witch and they loved it!)

Biggie Smalls/Ant-Man

The goal is to introduce some new characters that will factor in down the line. They could play an integral part down the road in Kevin Feige's master plan. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing these fresh-faces becoming part of the beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe. I used Hip-Hop variant covers because I think whoever drew these; did such an incredible job! Without further ado, here are ten characters that we will hopefully see standing next to the Avengers.

1. Spider-Woman

Jessica Drew was experimented on by Hydra and developed Spidey-Powers! There are multiple ways to bring her into the MCU. The way that seems to be the most fitting for her at first would be a mention of her during Parker's solo outing. Due to her powers; introducing her on Netflix could be a possibility. Expect her to have a role after The Defenders mini-series. After watching Daredevil's Season 2; I now believe that Netflix can handle action better than anyone else in the business. I would love to see her having a show where she does what Spider-Man does, but just a tad more intense!

2. Ms. Marvel

This is a long ways off; because Carol Danvers first needs to appear. I know they're introducing all the Inhumans on A.O.S, but she's way too big of a character to have her appear on that show. This means that need to see The Inhumans movie at Marvel Studios and then we can go from there. She has one of the best-selling comics at Marvel and anything less than a big screen adaptation would be injustice to the character. If Marvel goes the Young Avengers route, then you never know wha could happen!

3. Moon Knight

I know a lot of people would like to see him on a Netflix series, but with his name being mentioned during The Winter Soldier -- it looks like Marvel Studios might just have plans for him also. He has a very convoluted backstory that would be hard to incorporate in a film where he's the main character. It would make make more sense to tell his story through Netflix; so you can have time to give justice to his character by fully-developing his multiple-personalities. Either way, I think Marc Spector would make an awesome addition to the MCU.

4. Squirrel Girl

She's a tough nut to crack. She's far too light to be portrayed on the gritty Netflix. Having a film dedicated to a character that lacks the popularity of such characters as She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman -- makes seeing her on television or film a difficult prospect. Yet she would be amazing as a secondary character on something like Agents of Shield. A.O.S is still small-time, but she would still be included in the MCU. I think it would be very interesting seeing her cracking jokes with Quake and Coulson about how ridiculous her powers are. We'll see if popularity grows in the next year and if so; expect a larger role from Doreen Green.

5. She-Hulk

She's another character that would fit in Phase 4 wonderfully. A lot of these characters will have diminished returns by the end of Infinity War (Hulk, Thor, Iron Man) . I just keep picturing she and Carol Danvers fighting along side-by-side beating-up some very unlucky bad guy. I'm not sure where she could fit it, but she definitely have the popularity to be in the MCU in 2020.

6. Nova

Xandar was already introduced and I know a lot of people would like Richard Ryder, but Sam Alexander gives you youth; which means he could be around for a very long time as bucket-head. A lot of the actors are getting older and it only makes sense to have this young gun fight alongside Spidey. Ms. Marvel, White Tiger and a few others to form the Young Avengers. As long as they have proper introductions, all these names could be huge one day.

7. Spider-Man (Miles Morales)

Spider-Man/Nas

There's nothing wrong with having two Spider-Men. By having Miles along with the rest of the options; makes all the interesting things you could do just multiply. Plus, he and Jessica has a special bond, that would be very interesting to see portrayed in the MCU. I'm not sure if Marvel wants to do separate universes, but they really should keep it in consideration!

8. The Totally Awesome Hulk

Bruce Banner will not be around forever and having a replacement would be a smart idea. They have plenty of time to figure out the transition from Bruce to Amadeus of being The Jolly Green. I am curious to see if they will have him around after 2020 and also; if he's related to Dr. Helen Cho from Avengers: Age of Ultron?

9. White Tiger

I know Angela Del Toro was already mentioned in Jessica Jones, but my favorite version is Ava Ayala. Her amulet gives her a lot of sweet. sweet powers that would intriguing to see on screen. Marvel has plenty of time to figure out how to put all these new heroes on screen and for it also to make sense!

10. Cloak and Dagger

I would like to see their story start off as misguided youths and with Spider-Man's help; they become heroes. They both have powers that are different from what we've seen already in the MCU. I would have to write essays on how you incorporate each new hero into Marvel's MCU; so instead I just made this list of people I would potentially want to see take the place of the heroes from Phase 1-3.

Conclusion

Marvel's MCU has the potential to never stop growing and they have a vast array of characters and source material to work with. Aging is unavoidable and recasting certain characters is always an option, but sometimes their shoes are too big for someone else to fit in. Therefore the smartest option is to find different characters with the right appeal and hope the audience agrees. I made this list of suggestions of characters because basically -- I would love to see them have a shot at the coveted Marvel's MCU!

Did I leave out someone that you would like to see in the MCU?
