News Just In! ‘Mr Selfridge’ actor joins new ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off ‘Class’!

Reports are emerging from Cultbox.co.uk. The brand new Doctor Who Spin 'Class' is set in Coal Hill School. The Series is made up of eight Episodes and the camera start rolling next month. Creator of 'Class', Patrick Ness has said announcements are on the way next week. But one announcements has been leaked out that Greg Austin from ITV's Mr Selfridge will be starring in the Series.

Sharp eyed Twitter User, @TomMar5hall spotted the online CV of the actor, Greg Austin. It said "“Greg is currently shooting a series regular role in ‘Class‘, the new Doctor Who spinoff series for BBC3.”

Greg Austin is best known for playing Gordon Selfridge in ITV’s Mr Selfridge, which has now come to a conclusion. Greg will be playing the character called Charlie in 'Class'. It also read that the director of the two episode from Series 9 of Doctor Who, ‘The Girl Who Died and ‘The Woman Who Lived’, will be directing this Series!

The synopsis for 'Class' has been revealed and it reads: “Incredible dangers are breaking through the walls of time and space, and with darkness coming, London is unprotected. With all the action, heart and adrenalin of the best YA fiction (Buffy, Hunger Games), this is Coal Hill School and Doctor Who like you’ve never seen it before.” It's rumoured that the current Doctor, Peter Capaldi, has been asked to star in two episodes of this Series. The BBC are yet to confirm.
