Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice hit theaters this weekend and I personally thought it was awesome, entertaining, and well cast with the likes of Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg. The film also had some great fight sequences between Batman and Superman, and also the Trinity versus Doomsday.

While these battle scenes were epic, they don't hold a candle to some of the fights in Kingsman: The Secret Service. This R-rated fan favorite was easily one of the best movies of 2014 and was packed with some of the finest action we have ever seen on screen. Remember that church scene? Rewatch it below:

Kingsman: The Secret Service was hugely successful upon its release and it was quickly announced that a sequel was in the works. But it's been a while since we've heard anything about the follow-up. However, in the new issue of Empire, director Matthew Vaughn finally reveals details about the epic film's upcoming sequel.

The Sequel Is 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle'

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the official title for the sequel, which is set to hit theaters on June 16, 2017. It's set to star Julianne Moore as the principal antagonist. She played a pretty good villain in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and I could certainly envisage her playing a similar role in a spy thriller.

The more questionable casting choice is an appearance by Halle Berry as a secondary villain. In the plot, Kingsman agency HQ has been seriously damaged, and the British spies team up with the American CIA, led by Halle Berry's character. Her largely unsuccessful comic book roles to date consist of her atrocious turn as Catwoman and a rather bland performance as Storm. Obviously, the studio saw some redeeming qualities in Berry, so we will just have to trust its judgment at this point.

In the movie, a good bit of the action will move from Kingsman to Statesman, the organization's U.S. equivalent. Vaughn explained:

"I didn't know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain. Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot."

This sequel definitely sounds big as it will dive into spy tropes including a ski sequence; it sounds like Taron Egerton got some ideas when he was filming Eddie The Eagle. The Golden Circle will also include a barroom brawl with robot dogs and one-armed henchmen.

The one eye-catching detail is that there will be a battle with "a giant fucking frankfurter" That will either be really awesome or a huge mess. After the wonders of the first film, I think the frankfurter scene is going to be pretty amazing.
