After months of anticipation, AMC will finally air the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead this Sunday. The show has promised to get our hearts racing with the death of a major character and the long-awaited arrival of the comic book villain Negan, in what executive producer Greg Nicotero has called “the best [episode] yet.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Andrew Lincoln reiterated similar sentiments about his time reading the script and meeting Jeffrey Dean Morgan's murderous, bat-wielding character:

“You know. … [Laughs] Just get ready, man. Just get ready. ... I read the script and I went, ‘This is the greatest entrance ever written.’”

Even though the cast sounds just as excited about Negan's entrance as the fans, the men on set can't help but harbor a bit of resentment toward the unequivocally badass character:

“All of the guys were going, ‘Aw, man. I wish I had gotten this guy! It’s incredible. Although it’s also kind of unbearable. Norman and I were like, ‘Ugh, all the girls on set are gonna love him.’“

We haven't even been officially introduced, and I'm already a huge fan of Negan.

If there's anyone who could seriously shake things up for the survivors of Alexandria, it's Negan and his good friend Lucille. That being said, I'm still not sure if I'm emotionally prepared for this Sunday.

AMC's Season 6 finale of 'The Walking Dead' will air on Sunday at 9/8c.

What are your theories for Sunday night's episodes?
