Ben Affleck was everyone's shining light in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, with many remarking that Affleck's Batman is the most accurate adaptation of the superhero to date. For those who share this opinion, you will be delighted to know that Affleck has signed up for three more films, and now there are even rumours of Affleck putting his own creative talents into the story of a solo Batman movie.
William Morris Endeavor's co-CEOs Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell told The Hollywood Reporter that "He's [Affleck] contracted to do at least Justice League 1 and 2, so at least three times wearing the cape...There's a script that he's written that's a really cool [Batman] idea, so that's out there as an option," he added.
Affleck has also told DC All Access that he and Geoff Johns "are working together on something and I really am excited about it, and I love him, he's the best"
Affleck has received acclaim for his portrayal of Batman and will make his next appearance with a cameo in Suicide Squad, due for release in August. Affleck has proven himself behind the camera, working in production before, so this could mean great things for Batman.
