Since its release just over a week ago, Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice has caused a bigger divide than the one faced by the film's titular characters. Despite a record breaking haul at the box office, critics have actively slated the film.

It's one thing witnessing the polarized opinions from the outside, but what is it like for those involved in the movie? It must be hard to completely ignore the noise made by reviewers, surely?

Well, not quite. It looks like two of the film's stars, Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) are enjoying the attention, proving all the criticism is like water off a duck's back. Taking to Instagram, the pair shared separate memes related to the movie.

BvS has found itself on the receiving end of fervent cynicism, which is in stark contrast to its performance at the box office. As well as becoming the best superhero movie debut of all time, global takings now stand at $530.4 million.

Previously speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. domestic distribution chief Jeff Goldstein highlighted the difference in opinion. He said:

"There is no question this is an extraordinary achievement. Clearly, audiences have embraced it and we are already seeing repeat business. It's just fun. Often, there's a disconnect between critics and audiences."

Both Momoa and Fisher will be returning for some more DC action with Justice League in 2017, also directed by Snyder. It'll be the director's third expedition into the DC Extended Universe, and for some, question marks have been raised about his suitability.

One thing is certain though, with an ensemble consisting of some of DC's most desired characters, Warner Bros. will be optimistic that film too will make a killing at the box office.

'Justice League: Part One' will be released on November 17, 2017.
