Well the director's cut and Blu-ray of 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' is gonna have an additional 30 minutes added to it, as those 30 minutes were toned down from the final theatrical product so as to have an ideal run-time. However, this was one of the major blunder made by the BvS team and the outcome as we all know was quite pessimistic.
Anyways, one of the sequence that is gonna get some additional footage in the extended Blu-ray is Batman's knightmare of a Superman ruled earth.
In a recent podcast Zack discussed a bit of what the extra footage entails:
"Well I mean, let's just say this. I think it's okay to look at the extended dream sequence as an impressionistic view of a possible future right? So, and that's not hard to, that's in the sequence, so I'm not like spoiling anything or making up anything that you didn't see. So the connection with Flash, the Flash part of that sequence, you can speculate if, whether or not Flash is coming from that reality or another one, but that's the fun stuff to try and figure out exactly what Flash is saying to Bruce and what he means, because it's all, we know, so it's not, we're not making it up."
Well only time will tell as to what the extended footage has in store for us, but until then don't hate too much on BvS, it's not that a bad of a movie.
