We said it once.
Said it twice.
I guess third time was the charm. Beetlejuice 2 is actually happening this time.
Just a matter of weeks after Tim Burton's representative confirmed that any and all talks of a Beetlejuice sequel were invalid, we now have new news that the sequel has indeed been confirmed. Sources are claiming that there is just enough time between Burton's upcoming projects to squeeze in Beetlejuice 2. We can expect it to start filming after the live-action version of Dumbo is completed. Dumbo is Burton's next project following this year's release, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
I would assume at this point that with this being confirmed we will soon see casting announcements for Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton. After all, Ryder did say that she was looking forward to teaming up with Tim Burton again.
