Assassin John Wick is back in the Lionsgate sequel starring Keanu Reeves in the title role.
"People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back."
And this time, he's taking no prisoners.
John Wick was a favored film in 2014, meaning it was only natural that John Wick: Chapter Two would come to fruition. Lionsgate has released its first official synopsis for director Chad Stahelski's film:
Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.
John Wick: Chapter Two will feature Keanu Reeves, with Bridget Moynahan and Ian McShane returning as Helen Wick and Winston, respectively. Also returning are John Leguizamo and Lance Reddick. Making their debut appearances in the sequel are Common and Ruby Rose in undisclosed roles, and Laurence Fishburne as The Bowler King.
John Wick: Chapter Two hits theaters February 10, 2017.
