'Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?'

How far would you go to get a selfie with your favorite star? Well, one girl went a little too far in her quest to get a snap with Harry Styles — by gatecrashing his grandmother's funeral.

In her latest column for The Debrief, Harry's sister, Gemma, posed the question: when did our selfie obsession get so inappropriate? She revealed:

My most frustrating personal experience of this was the ‘friend’/distant relative at my grandma’s funeral who was trying to bring in her granddaughter or niece or someone to have a picture with my brother. At a funeral. Our grandmother’s funeral. ‘Smh’ doesn’t really cover it.

Wow. There's inappropriate and then there's just plain disrespectful. Harry and Gemma's grandmother, Beryl Styles, passed away in 2014 at the age of 86, which must understandably have been a difficult time for the ex-One Directioner. Being bombarded at the funeral was probably the last thing he needed. Besides, taking selfies with the star can be a dangerous game.

Earlier this year, hairdresser Amy Whelan revealed she was hit with death threats after sharing a snap she took with Harry to her Instagram after bumping into him at a London supermarket. The photo was met with an onslaught of comments from jealous fans, including "If you don’t tell me where Harry Styles is, I will kill you."

Amy told The Daily Mail:

"I was shocked that a pic with Harry Styles could cause such an uproar. Since I took the photo I have been inundated with desperate fans. Some are quite jealous of me - when all I did was get a quick selfie of him."

Where would you draw the selfie-taking line?
