Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has experienced a 68 percent drop at the domestic box office, and while many might consider that alarming, international numbers are still rock solid. Indeed, in just over a week, the film performed better than Man Of Steel's entire haul.
In the United States, Batman V Superman is still short $30 million compared to Man Of Steel's $291 million at the domestic box office, but worldwide Dawn Of Justice has raked in more than $682 million — that's a full $15 million better than Man Of Steel during its 14-week run in theaters.
We predict the film will probably advance past Man Of Steel's domestic total by next weekend, making it the highest-grossing Superman film to date. However, it most definitely won't get close to The Dark Knight or The Dark Knight Rises, which both made over $1 billion globally.
