Daniel Radcliffe sure knows how to pick his roles. From playing a boy wizard to a naked man obsessed with his horse, he's now portraying a flatulent corpse opposite Paul Dano in Sundance Film Festival's most ridiculous film of the year, Swiss Army Man.
Many Sundance attendees walked out of the film early on, but those that stuck around found something touching within the ridiculousness. While it might seem mad of Dano's character to use Radcliffe's body as a means of transportation or even a weapon, the oddly creative nature of this film is a standout.
Directed by Daniels (a team consisting of Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Swiss Army Man hits theaters on June 17.
Some people have imaginary friends. Others play with corpses. To each his own, I suppose.
