CW's ARROW has a dull tip this season, and Olicity may be to blame for it. Let me explain. I love this show, and I watch every episode with excitement, but this year was not what I expected.

Since the first episode when we saw that graveyard scene, it has been the "Felicity's gonna die" watch. Every hint possible was thrown at viewers leading us to believe Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) was going to bite the big one.

Yet, it didn't go bad there. You want to know where it went bad? Try the moment the season started with Olicity living in wonderful bliss. What they had should have been the ending to a wonderful story, but instead it was thrown in the mix for this season and all it did was dull the tip of the Arrow.

"I love you, but you can't be you with me.."

"How can we be together if you don't let me in..."

The on again-off again turmoil that was Olicity took away from the drama that is Damien Darhk. It also softened Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) to the point that we no longer recognize him as the man who killed the Demon's Head and is the true Ra's Al-Ghul. No, what we have is the shadow of a man brought low by fragile love and a fool's dream of happiness within the world he inhabits.

As we head into the final lap of this season, the only thing that fans are looking forward to is "who is going to die" at the hands of Damien Darhk's vengeance. We all know it ain't going to be Felicity, and I don't know if that is really a good thing.

Supposedly, the person biting the big one is Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), with images of a tombstone floating around the net. It could be a hoax since it was released April 1st, and good money also has her dad Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) paying a price for ratting on Darhk.

POST SCRIPT: Yep, it was Laurel who died, but it wasn't a surprise. Thanks for spoiling that too Reddit!

Fans of the show still tune in, but many are asking whether Olicity did more harm than good this year. Who knows? Maybe they're right.
