Chase Ricks: Good afternoon fellow fans and Moviepilot.com and Creator.co Creators. It is my honor and pleasure to once again interview Alex H Singh who last fall came to my attention with his highly enjoyable science fiction fantasy classic "Nubara." Afternoon Alex. How are you this year?
Alex Singh: So far Chase I am doing fantastic. I have to say I have been very productive.
Chase: Very good to know. I'm glad your last interview was so successful and my intention today is to make this new interview even more successful. So then, how far have you come in writing the sequel to "Nubara?"
Alex: Well Chase so far "Origins of the Risen: Nubara Book 2" is going way better than expectations. I am nine chapters in and everything is falling into place wonderfully.I should be finished very shortly.
Chase: Excellent news. Now then for those new to "Nubara" it is a science fiction/ fantasy genre adventure series taking place in ancient Atlantis and the modern Earth. In it a group of young adults discover they are descendants of ancient Atlanteans and must find a way to break the curse that doomed Atlantis before the same doom can repeat itself. http://moviepilot.com/posts/3635628
Alex: Would you care to see some imagery from the characters of a book 2?
Chase: Yes please and not just for me but so your fans online from all over the world can see them too. :)
Last but not least here is the poster of book 2.
Chase: Very well. In the picture of the centaurs looking through the wall at New York City, are they scrying on our main characters or using it to plan even more destruction then just the subway crash from "Nubara?" As an afterthought, who are the Gray aliens?
Alex: The Grays, are aliens that have plagued earth for centuries
Chase: If I had not read the caption again, I fully would have missed this! And why hasn't anyone heard of them before including me?
Alex: They have been around for centuries.
Chase: Yes I get that, but how come no one in fiction has heard of them yet and I do not recall them in "Nubara: Destiny Awaits?"
Alex: That's because they were not mentioned until book 2 in book two we learned why Queen Marietta joined forces with King Desmundo. Which has something to do with The Grays. There will be more destruction in Book 2 & the Centaurs are not the only creatures that the heroes have to worry about anymore.
Chase: You have been very busy indeed since your last interview. I can barely keep up. :) It is all very much new information I have been waiting almost five months to learn about. Good thing I can be very patient.
Alex: As you know Chase this is not the only book that I'm working on at the moment. I have 3 other novels that I'm working on, one being a horror novel The Other a Sci-Fi drama and the other book 3 my anticipated series Nubara. Well then, would you like to see the cover done by the talented & gorgeous Jennifer Munswami for Nubara Book 2? Everyone who has seen Book 2's cover has been in awe. I still can not believe that this cover belongs to me. It is even better then Book 1's Cover.
Chase: Yes I would like to see the new book cover for "Origins of the Risen" as I'm certain all your fans will want to see it too.
Alex: Since we last spoke Nubara sales have gone up. I sell at least 3-5 Books a Day. I have 3 Reviews already all 3 are 5 stars which makes me feel accomplished. Check it out http://www.amazon.com/Nubara-Destiny-Alex-H-Singh-ebook/dp/B013S6INBK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1459288310&sr=8-1&keywords=nubara I do have a teaser image from book 3 of Nubara, if your interested...
Chase: Alex we will save that for when I interview you after "Nubara Book 2: Origins of the Risen" is published. That way it will make fans even more interested in your books. Did you want to know about the other books?
Chase: Yes please.
Alex: Okay. For starters I have a book coming out called "Graphic." This book is about a young graphic designer named Daniela in a little town called Tisdale, who uncovers the truth of a cult only mentioned in murmurs among the town folk. As Daniela tries to find out the truth, she is also having to face off against a vengeful spirit.
The next novel releasing soon it's about a young mother named Johana who is a mother of 3. Johana's husband has just report a car accident to leave him amnesiac. So she mends him back to health while forgiving his transgressions only to discover that he is not who she thought he was as he is The Second Husband.
The next novel releasing soon is about a young mother named Johana who is a mother of 3. Johana's husband has just report a car accident to leave him amnesiac. So she mends him back to health while forgiving his transgressions only to discover that he is not who she thought he was as he is The Second Husband. Finally, last but not least the finale of Nubara. The third book will be called "Pieces Of Me: Nubara Book 3."
Chase: Very cool. Now I well know you do not like me to spoil future books of yours with my theories so I won't, at least this time. So then since last fall what have you learned new as an author that you would like your fans to know about in the creative process of fiction and fantasy writing?
Alex: Well Chase what I've learned regarding fiction and fantasy writing is that you need to allow yourself to be creative. Secondly separate yourself from negativity, and above all never doubt yourself.
Chase: Very cool. Is there anything new you have learned while writing your new to be published novels that has helped you to become a better author?
Alex: I have learned to be fearless, to allow ideas to flow over me like a rain shower. Not to shy away from ideas but to embrace them and go with the creative flow. You never know where one's imagination will take them.
Chase: Now I know that some parts of "Nubara" were meant for older readers in terms of the death and violence. For parents of young adults or teenagers who want to read "Origins of the Risen: Nubara Book 2," should they be alert for anything similar to that?
Alex: Yes and no. But to be honest let's take a look at the movies out nowadays such as Batman vs Superman that had more violence then my books
Chase: A very good point to discuss indeed. Now as many know, "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" was a dark superhero comic book movie from DC. It followed much but not all of the plot found in Frank Miller's graphic novel "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns."
Alex: "Origins of the Risen" covers the origins of many of the characters including how the island was created to begin with. Although there are some frightening scenes it is nothing compared to Book 3. Meanwhile "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" had violence that was not necessary. It could have been a very classy superhero film. No offense, but nowadays kids look towards a hero or heroine as inspiration. How was there any inspiration in this film when mostly it was about fighting and very little about succeeding with teamwork? I just think it gives the wrong idea to youngsters these days. Where is in my book series, my characters are brought together and work together towards a common goal.
Chase: A very well thought insight into movies these days indeed.
Alex: Anything I can do to help.
Chase: Just so you know, Creators.co and Moviepilot.com are both the same thing. Creators.co allows Creators to write more about what they like and not just the standard entertainment articles on Moviepilot.com if you are confused.
Alex: Ok. :)
Chase: Last time you mentioned your Author Blogsite was under construction. How is that coming along?
Alex: Oh cool I'm excited. https://www.facebook.com/AlexHSingh/
Chase: When is the target date for "Origins of the Risen" to be published?
Alex: Before December
Chase: Well fans this was a great interview and come December I look forward with the rest of you to purchasing "Nubara Book 2: Origins of the Risen."
