They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but you just try telling that to 20 lucky fans who got to eat for free, all thanks to an enduring loyalty to pop singing sensation, Nick Carter.

The Backstreet Boy hosted a fan lunch in LA, as part of his promotion for his new film, Dead 7. According to Just Jared, guests were treated to specialities such as fried calamari and Caesar salad. Yummy!

Nick, who is now 36 years old, was just 12 when Backstreet Boys were catapulted into the big time. Aside from the band, he has also released three solo albums.

He has appeared in numerous TV shows and films over the years, mostly as himself, although he has a leading role in Dead 7, a film he also wrote. The story is set in post-apocalyptic America.

The film aired on Syfy on April 1st and will be available on DVD from June 7th.
