Only a few days remain until you can relax and indulge in some weekend therapeutic thrashings. For some of us the payday cash boost has already been spent (what, you mean we’re supposed to make it last longer than 7 days!?!?), meaning we can’t have a full blowout, but hopefully this will keep you going.
1. Cannibals and Carpet Fitters
It might be less of a trailer and more of a horror short (it's actually a little longer than the norm) but it’s definitely worth a watch if you're after a gore and laughter quickie. Creator James Busche is currently working on creating the short into a feature length film so make sure to check out his Kickstarter.
2. Wayward Pines
Admittedly the shortest trailer in the world, but if you were a fan of the first season of Wayward Pines, then a mere 15 seconds is enough to get your blood pumping. Produced by M. Night Shyamalan, the show will return in late May.
Spring is slowly creeping its way in and that can only mean the ravaging storm of insects is on the horizon. Chad Archibald’s gross-out film Bite certainly looks to deliver the goods in terms of everything nasty yet horrifically appealing.
4. Shark Exorcist
Well, there’s got to be something in here that looks so-bad-its-good and the winner of that category immediately goes to the film about a shark possessed by Satan. Yeah, you heard that correctly. This one is purely for shits and giggles.
This trailer pretty much sums up everything I look for in a film sales pitch – if it were on Tinder, I would be super-liking that. This horror anthology features ten directors, one of whom is Tusk director Kevin Smith. With it comes another delightfully bizarre yet bloody tale about the holiday seasons.
