It's pretty crazy that two weeks in to [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) we would still be talking about its polarizing effects. The movie started off strong with the highest box office for a superhero film. This momentum didn't continue however with a massive drop at the box office with an 81% drop. It still however continues to divide moviegoers all over with many calling it an atrocity and others a masterpiece.

The cast and even Zack Snyder have said their thoughts on all the criticism and now another member of the League comes forth. In an interview with ET Jason Momoa was asked what he thought about the backlash the film has been receiving. The actor didn't fire back but gave a pretty great answer nonetheless.

There's been some things here and there, but I'm stoked. There's a lot of support from fans. There's a big beautiful world. There's a lot -- a lot -- of stuff. I feel really privileged to know that there's a lot of big, beautiful stuff that's going to happen. I'm excited too, for people to see the final product. And now it's our turn -- it's Justice League time! I've been waiting for four years that I've known about it that I've had to keep my mouth shut. I'm super pumped to shoot it!

Some people liked it, some people didn't, it is what it is. I don't get it, but I don't really listen to what anyone says...You can't win 'em all. And I had a ball. I loved it.

It's a pretty great answer from Momoa who was in the film for a short time as Aquaman. We will see his character return for Justice League Part One next year and also the solo Aquaman film in 2018. The question still however stands and that is will people still go see Justice League after the reception for Batman V Superman? I believe that the film will still be a hit no matter what but they should still be taking notes from the movie for their future ones.

The stance Jason Momoa has taken is pretty much the same one that Zack and the rest of the team have taken. They believe it is what it is and will continue with their plan to build the DCEU the way they did with Batman V Superman. We did learn earlier this week that they had announced two extra films one for 2018 and the other in 2019 for their slate. It could mean that they are really serious about kicking this universe into high gear.
