Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman have officially confirmed the birth of their first child together and they have bucked the Hollywood trend for off-the-wall names with a much more traditional offering.
Hathaway's reps confirmed that the Oscar winner gave birth to the baby boy on March 24 and it has been revealed that the new addition's name is Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. A source also told E! News that:
"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A."
Hathaway first confirmed her pregnancy via Instagram in January after she saw paparazzi taking her picture on the beach and wanted to take ownership of breaking her baby news in an Image that had her consent.
Hathaway and her husband, Shulman have been together since November 2008 and were married in 2012.
Congratulations to the new parents! Good luck on the new adventure.
