I love a good "vs." movie. I recently listened to an episode of the Movies, Films, and Flix podcast and was inspired by their talk of "vs." movies. The pod reminded me of the film Freddy vs. Jason, and I started thinking about other horror movie characters that deserve a "vs." movie. The following post features five fighting movies that need to happen!

Let me know what horror fights you want to see.

1. Death ('Final Destination') vs. Jason Voorhees ('Friday the 13th')

Movie Title: Final Friday the 13th

I feel like Death would give up because there is no way to kill Jason. The guy is already dead and has cheated further death countless times. However, I would love to see what Death would try to kill Jason with.

2. Research Crew ('The Thing') vs. Vampires ('30 Days of Night')

Movie Title: Six Months of Night

Imagine if Kurt Russell and Keith David battled vampires during the six months of darkness in Antarctica! It would be like John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 but with heads getting ripped off. I got my money on Kurt Russell (great Russell pod here), but it would be a heck of a battle.

3. Zombies ('The Return of the Living Dead') vs. WolfCop ('WolfCop')

Movie Title: The Night of the Living Dead Who Are About to be Dead Again (sorry for the long title)

Just in case you aren't familiar with The Return of the Living Dead (1985), there is a scene where a zombie gets on a radio and asks for the police to "send more cops."

Imagine if WolfCop showed up and wrecked shop — the zombies wouldn't know what hit them! I'd pay a pretty penny to watch a werewolf cop rip up some zombies.

4. The Firefly family ('The Devil's Rejects') vs. Norman Bates ('Psycho')

Movie Title: The Devil's Psycho

One of the craziest scenes in The Devil's Rejects (2005) takes place in a secluded hotel. Imagine if the Firefly family stopped at the Bates Hotel and attempted to with mess with Norman. I'd love to see what the evil Norman could do against the evil Fireflies. The movie would get weird and would definitely be better than the 1998 remake of Psycho.

5. Graboids ('Tremors') vs. Crazy Desert Killers ('The Hills Have Eyes')

Movie Title: The Hills Have Tremors

Here is how it would go down: The insane Hills Have Eyes (1977) family are attacking the desert town of Perfection and the underground menaces known as Graboids attack. From there, we get a three way battle that involves Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward battling deranged killers and weird creatures. Perfect!
