For those who don't know, reactions from early screenings of Captain America 3 have hit the internet and they're really, really positive (minus a few exceptions) and as of now, spoilers have hit the internet, and we wonder, how much screentime does Spidey have? Is he important to the movie? To the plot?
Well, someone might have answered that.
Α reviewer, by the name of Mike Sampson, who has seen the film was asked on Twitter, how much screentime does Spider-Man have? And he bloody OUTRIGHT answered it.
Here it is:
That's about right. Maybe 10 mins of Parker, a good 20 mins of Spidey.
There you have it, well, let's be honest, that's quite the big number of screentime, a full half hour of film with Spidey in it!
Let's ask two questions, right?!
Is He THAT Important To The Plot Of The Film?
Like in the comics, Spider Man was important to push the story forward, like switching sides, breaking Iron Man's arm, and having a confrontation with him, then will that happen in the film? Well, Tony is seen with his arm broken in the second trailer.
Ainto some high-tech prison similar to the one in the comic, which Marvel doesn't have the rights to, cause it's FF related.
Is it happening? i don't know, i haven't seen it, but i may catch an early screening, so.....i don't know, i shall wait till it gets out or get in an early screening.
Does Civil War Set-Up the Spidey Solo Film?
While i think the post credits scene for CW is gonna be a Doc Strange one, i do think that they need to set-up the Spidey film in some capacity.
Maybe a tease to where Peter is going next, or some Spidey villain referenced, a whole post scene? We can't know for sure, but we'll have to wait.
Civil War arrives in less than a month, and the hype is real, mates.
