Melissa McCarthy became the first woman ever to take home the well-deserved Comedic Genius award at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, and she looked damn good doing it.

In her speech, the 45-year old actress thanked other comediennes that came before her, as well as all of the loyal fans and viewers that keep watching her hilarious films and shows. She also made a witty and probably very satisfying jab at the nuns that used to be her teachers in school:

“There are still some nuns in my old high school in Illinois who are still pretty surprised at the use of the word ‘genius' with my name, but take that, sister!”

The Boss star looked gorgeous in a black jumpsuit with a leather bodice and strappy sandals. When asked how she achieved her recent weight loss, McCarthy told Extra:

“[I have a] super boring life. You bring it real down, you don’t do anything fun and you go to bed at 7:30 — that’s the trick.”

McCarthy just released her new film The Boss, raking in a whopping $24.5 million at the box office in its opening weekend. She's also set to star in the Ghostbusters reboot, which will hit theaters in September 2016.
