Warning Extreme Use of Pictures and Possible 'Suicide Squad' and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Spoilers. Apology in advance for the overuse of pictures.

A new Suicide Squad trailer titled 'Blitz' dropped yesterday, and with it a lot brand new footage. That said, one of the more interesting components of this footage was the theme of 'Swan Dives' and falling by countless characters. Not to mention that one of the characters who fell at least twice visibly in the 'Blitz' trailer and three times presumably. This character was none other than Harley Quinn. The question at hand here is could one of these falls be fatal?

First Fall: Vat of Acid

The above shot is from is from the 1:52 mark in the 'Blitz' trailer and pictures a pre-Harley Quinn falling down to a more likely vat of acid. Most fans can probably assume that she was pushed by the Joker himself. As you can see from the picture below, the Joker will then 'Swan Dive' after her.

Not to mention this shot from 1:41 in the 'Blitz' trailer depicts a Joker who is wearing the same shirt (as pictured above), and a look of aggression on his face. This helps confirm that the Joker did in fact do the pushing.

Then let's not forget the rescue shot of the Joker and a new born Harley Quinn.

Alright so currently the tally is 1 fall and 1 save.

Second Fall: The Chase Scene

The footage from all the trailers have depicted a chase scene that involves Batman riding on top of the Joker's car that has both Harley Quinn and the Joker inside. The chase seems to end with the Joker once again throwing Harley out, but this time into water. As we can see below that Batman dives in after her and let's the Joker get away.

Oh hey another 'Swan Dive'.

Batman is successful in his efforts to get Harley and presumably take her into custody. Then again, he may let her go and give her a second chance but who knows.

This puts are tally at 2 falls and 2 saves.

Now the final fall that we have seen is the one that has bothered me the most.

Third Fall: The Building

This shot is taken from 1:42 in the 'Blitz' trailer and it seems as if Harley is running or dodging someone. With that covered, she could potentially be running from her team, the Joker, or possibly the government. Then the interesting part happens at 1:44.

We see Harley Quinn fall from what appears to be that very building.

The only difference is that this time we do not get to see anyone save her. This could be the final act by the Joker in the film. Perhaps the Joker does push her off and finally kills her. I mean considering that the Joker is a man of many laughs, how ironic would this fall be making the third time a charm. Joker's killing of Harley Quinn may bring the 'Suicide Quad' together, which would allow them to temporarily become unified and take down the Joker. Another good point worth noting is that DCEU is not afraid to kill off it's main characters (Superman in BvS).

Well that's all I got. Could Harley Quinn possibly die in Suicide Squad? Let me know in the comments down below.

Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2016.
