The time has finally come. Dark Souls has come careering back into our lives with the third and final installment of the tear-inducing franchise, and Dark Souls 3 looks better than ever. That is if you actually notice the world of the game through eyes tainted by fury, or overwhelming sadness.

If you're readying your space to take to the hellish landscapes of the Kingdom of Lothric on PC, you'd better steady yourself because the game's recommended spec is pretty beefy.

Recommended For Optimum Death:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 64bit, Windows 8.1 64bit Windows 10 64bit
  • Processor: AMD® FX 8150 3.6 GHz or Intel® Core™ i7 2600 3.4 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750, ATI Radeon™ HD 7850
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 sound device

That will have the game looking great on your rig. But for those of us who are yet to taste the heady highs of gaming with a friggin' Titan rig, here's what you'll need to run Dark Souls 3 on minimum spec.

Minimum Spec Of Doom:

  • DirectX: Version 11
