WARNING: Spoilers ahead for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice might have ended with Superman's death, but even the most casual of comic book observers know that our favorite heroes never stay dead for long. Today, Superman himself (Henry Cavill) reiterated that fact in his latest Instagram post.
In the image, we see Cavill completing his first week of training for Zack Snyder's The Justice League Part One, which started principal photography this week.
1st week of training done. 7 days, 9 workouts and a whole lot of food! #Superman #JusticeLeague #SupermanTraining
Even while working out his supersized muscles, Cavill's hair stays perfectly coiffed. Now that's a superpower. And for anyone who believed Superman had really died, at the hands of Lex Luthor's creature, this is evidence enough to confirm his imminent return.
Also hitting the gym in preparation for the role is Cavill's Justice League co-star Jason Momoa, who will play Aquaman.
Next time I propose we have Superman and Aquaman go head to head, or at least become spotters for one another at the DC gym.
'The Justice League Part One' will be released on November 17, 2017.
Would you rather workout with Superman or Aquaman?
