British heartthrob Harry Styles is reportedly gearing up to take a break from his hot and heavy One Direction lifestyle to live out in the open ocean. And no, don't worry, the move is not intended as some bizarre withdrawal treatment against a crippling sex addiction of sorts.
Instead, the floppy-haired One Directioner is preparing for his very first movie role. Consequently, he will be waving goodbye to his VIP life in order to join the cast and crew of Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk (which will also star Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh) on an old Navy ship in the middle of nowhere. By roughing it up at sea with no access to electricity or decent running water, Harry is hoping to kick start a successful career in movies.
Naturally, a very reputable 'source' spoke to The Sun newspaper, revealing:
"Harry is used to living the life of luxury so this will be a very interesting experience. He knows this boot camp at sea is a big part of the job and is keen to get stuck in. But this will be tough and producers are trying to make life on board as realistic as possible."
What is more, the cast will have to struggle with meagre rations of food and no mobile phone access whilst on the ship. Quite an ordeal, as you can imagine.
The 'harrowing' experience will hopefully improve their understanding of what it was like to land on the deadly beaches of Dunkirk in June 1940.
As for what this means for Harry personally, another source said:
"Harry has gone straight in at the top. Dunkirk will be massive. He was asked to audition for the part - which will be substantial - and impressed Christopher. This is now a great chance for him to show his acting skills and put himself in the frame for more huge movie roles. But music is still very much on his agenda and he would like to do both going forward."
Well, all we can say is -- good luck to you mate!
