It's hard to believe that we are less than a month away from Marvel's Captain America: Civil War. The anticipation for this movie has been rising ever since they announced it in October 2014.

Now that the stage has been set, and the wait is almost over, let's talk about the potential undercards, because we all know what the main event is going to be. Plus, it has also been talked about and dissected since 2014, so there isn't much else to say.

Before getting started, let me first put out the disclaimer that none of these battles will be death matches, and they are more about capturing and preventing capture. With the obvious exception of the Winter Soldier putting a bullet in Tony Stark's glove.

Here are the fights I am looking forward to seeing the most in no particular order and who I think will take home the win.

Scarlet Witch vs. Vision

This fight will be interesting, due to the mere fact that the last time we saw them in Avengers: Age of Ultron and fighting along side each other, Vision saved Scarlet Witch's life.

It does seem like she has a very short memory, because she does take a hold of Vision and puts him out of commission in the preview to their match up on the last trailer.

Whether or not they decide to take their characters in the same direction as their comic book counterparts, we all noticed the connection they made in Age of Ultron.

Being the Avenger with an indestructible mind, against a person with mind altering powers, I would give this battle to Vision.

Hawkeye vs. Black Widow

This of course is a rematch of their fight during The Avengers that was of course won by Black Widow. As the last trailer suggested, this is more of sparring match for an upper hand, and not in any way looking to knock each other out. This will be very entertaining to watch, as they both will have their quips during their confrontation. She is Auntie Nat and he is the only family man currently in the Avengers.

She did it before, and she is more than likely going to do it again, I have Black Widow winning round two.

Winter Soldier vs. Black Panther

This one is going to be the most violent and no holds barred of all the confrontations during this film. We know that Black Panther was at the UN when the explosion occurred and we also know that the Winter Soldier is getting blamed for it. Black Panther is looking for justice and/or revenge during their meetings.

That motivation is going to give him an advantage and the ability to come out on top in this contest.

Ant-Man vs. Spider-Man

We never thought this one-on-one battle would be possible, until the last international trailer to the film was released.

Yes, that's Spider-Man suddenly added to the trailer at the tail end and from the looks of it, he's making a dash towards Ant-Man. Getting to see the new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe go head-to-head so early is intriguing, but most intriguing is that it might be our first insect-on-insect action.

This bout will go to Spider-Man. He's younger, he's more agile and he's freaking Spider-Man in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Falcon vs. War Machine

Last, but certainly not least, is the battle of the two biggest loyalist. They are both the most trusted by each side's respective leaders. Rhodes has been on Tony Stark's side even before he made the now famous announcement letting the work know that he is Iron Man. Their potential battle will take place in the skies and in IMAX or regular 3D, it might not be easy for the stomach.

Sam Wilson will follow Steve Rodgers blindly into battle, because he knows what Captain America stands for, even if it meant taking on a government organization like S.H.I.E.L.D. in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

This is the most difficult of the five undercards. You have two characters that have had some time in the spotlight, but not enough to showcase all their abilities, until now. Being that it's Captain America's movie, I'm thinking Falcon puts War Machine down for the count.

War Machine's Fate

We've seen the trailer hint at War Machine being shot down from the sky and then seeing Tony Stark holding his friend's lifeless looking body.

I no longer think they would kill off War Machine during a battle against another hero, but that doesn't mean that he is not a potential victim that will then bring both sides together.

Hints at things to come

Check out what Captain America has to say in the beginning of this clip.

He states to Tony that he shouldn't give up when someone dies on his watch, which Tony immediately responds with I haven't given up. Which leads to many questions as to who it could be, because it happens earlier in the movie, and it leads to this conversation. War Machine is in this clip, but this conversation could be a hint of things to come.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 5th in many early screening theaters and everywhere on May 6th.
