Last week there were some leaks about a few working titles for Marvel's rendition of Spider-Man that ranged from "Spider-Man: Homecoming," to "Spider-Man: Greatness Awaits." Now, as a massive Spider-Man fan, I know that Homecoming is a comic book story line that involves some of the Avengers, and while that excites me, there is clearly more layers to this title than meets the eye. It is known that we will be getting a much younger Peter Parker, as the actor actually resembles a high school student, unlike that of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, who both had their perks to the character, but admittedly did not quite suit the age.
The film's title has been officially confirmed to be "Spider-Man: Homecoming! This is the best title in my opinion, from the leaks of last week.
From many sites, including the Verge, it is now official. Here is confirmation: http://www.theverge.com/2016/4/13/11419936/spider-man-homecoming-sony-marvel-announce
Tom Holland seems to be the perfect age to play this character, and seeing him in other films playing serious roles, he definitely can play both alter egos. I am loving everything I am hearing from this film so far. I can't wait for them to begin shooting so that we can see our first glimpses from this film. Until then, "Captain America: Civil War" will have his first appearance and will arrive in theaters in just a few weeks. It is a great time to be a Marvel fan!
