If the current state of unrest in the superhero world (a.k.a Batman vs Superman and Captain America vs Iron Man) isn't enough for you, then Mike Colter, who currently plays Luke Cage in the MCU, is instigating further fights between beloved DC characters.
While at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War, Colter said he'd like to see Superman take on Aquaman. And while he's at it, he'd like to throw his character Luke Cage into the mix as well.
Now that principal photography has started on Zack Snyder's The Justice League Part One, the prospect of getting to see these two duke it out is becoming all the more likely. As we all know, Superman and Aquaman team up in the end, but as we've seen in past superhero movies, there might be a minor adjustment period for the two heroes.
Only yesterday, Henry Cavill (Superman) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman) both posted images of themselves training for The Justice League. And quite frankly, I'm not sure who would win in a fight between them.
On the one hand we can see Superman's bulging biceps and perfectly coiffed hair.
But on the other, there's Aquaman's insane abs and luscious locks.
Alright, it's a toss up, but I think Mike Colter is on to something.
'Captain America: Civil War' will hit theaters on May 6 and 'Justice League Part One' is set for a November 17, 2017 release.
