We're all anxiously awaiting the premiere of Game of Thrones and learning whether Jon Snow is truly dead, but there's one man that will have the answers before the rest of us: President Barack Obama.

During HBO's live stream on Facebook, Game of Thrones co-creator D.B. Weiss was asked if there was any specific moment where he knew that the show was truly a success:

"I think, for both of us, finding out that the president wanted advanced copies of the episodes was — that was an ‘ah-ha’ moment. That was a very strange moment."

Co-creator David Benioff added:

"When the commander in chief says, ‘I'd like to see advanced episodes,’ what are you gonna do?"

Obama has been known to say that Game of Thrones is one of his favorite shows, just like most of the American population. But he's certainly got a leg up here — even members of the entertainment press aren't receiving advance episodes of the show.
