The sequel to 2014's Kingsman is finally underway, and in addition to Taron Egerton's return, the casting list for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, is becoming increasingly impressive.

Already confirmed for roles in Michael Vaughn's follow-up film are Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal and Halle Berry.

Just last week, it was heavily teased that Colin Firth's character Harry Hart had somehow found a way to cheat death and survive Valentine's headshot.

And his morning, The Hollywood Reporter announced that the latest celebrity in talks to join the Kingsman cast is Oscar-winning ivory tickler Sir Elton John.

There's still no word on what kind of role Vaughn and his writing partner Jane Goldman have in mind, but I'm hoping he plays himself. Wouldn't it be great to find out that Sir Elton has been a secret agent working for the Kingsman agency? Now that would be a great cameo.

'Kingsman: The Golden Circle' is set for release on June 16, 2017.
