I am getting super excited for the upcoming [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) movie! Marvel keeps on releasing little tidbits of information and exclusive clips and I am loving it. I don't want to be too spoiled for the movie but sometimes, I can't help myself. I wanted to show you a few things I found out about the movie--a rumor that seems to be true, a rumor that probably isn't going to happen, and a scene that was recently released to an exclusive audience that may or may not be in Civil War!

For the record, there MAY be spoilers for Captain America: Civil War!

Possible Post-Credit Scene

Recently, Marvel unveiled its newest title for the upcoming 2017 Spider-Man movie, Homecoming. They also showed a scene from the movie involving Peter, Aunt May and Tony Stark. Apparently it's for the new Spidey movie, but it would be perfect for a post-credit scene at the end of Civil War! Especially because it has Tony with a black eye, and the trailers they've released have been full of images with a bruised Tony. I haven't seen otherwise...

Peter comes home to his and Aunt May's Queens apartment and admires a car outside..

Cool car, Mr. Stark

And, yes, it's Tony Stark's!

The scene depicts Peter coming home from school and finding Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) with Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) in their apartment, sitting at a coffee table and enjoying some tea. Tony tells a surprised Peter that the grant he recently applied for has been quickly approved (Thing is… Peter didn’t apply for a grant). (Hypable.com).

With our newest (and hottest) Aunt May!

Hello, Aunt May!
Hello, Aunt May!

And I do like the idea of a grant from Stark Industries, maybe as a cover for his superheroing duties with the Avengers as Spidey? I remember seeing something like this similar in the WHIH News footage from the Ant-Man Blu-Ray...

Rumor

I recently read about this rumor that has Robert Downey Jr undergoing CGI-age regression in order to play either a flashback or a FRIDAY-induced-technical-holographic-forensic-interpretation (FRIDAY being JARVIS' AI replacement, not the Ice Cube movie franchise of the same name) of his parents' accident apparently caused by the Winter Soldier. And Downey pretty much confirmed a younger version of himself last night on Kimmel.

Robert Downey Jr. appears digitally de-aged as a much younger Tony Stark. The scene reportedly involves Stark using technology “to revisit a traumatic moment.” (Newsarama)

It said that this flashback/whatever takes place in 1991. Well, Downey Jr was in a movie called Soapdish back in '91.

Here is the future (or past, depending on which way you look at that movie scene) Tony Stark fooling around with that era's top technology!

And for fun, here's a picture of past Tony hanging out with DUM-E from the first Iron Man! I love this stuff!

Wild Speculation

Science Bros!

Now I know that Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is not scheduled to be in Civil War, but wouldn't it be cool if Marvel lied?

Rumor has it that scene saw Iron Man getting beaten up, only for it to be revealed that Banner was actually inside and Hulks out of it. It would certainly have been a good scene - though Feige's feelings on it would just be guesses at this stage (Whatculture.com).

I've been holding on to this one for a while. But the imagery is so cool and out of nowhere, that it would be a perfect addition to the movie.

One More Thing

A recent Civil War clip presented Vision in a sweater vest. From this footage.

lookin' good, Vision

Where would he get that idea?

Mister Jarvis

I always think of Jarvis with this Agent Carter quote:

Peggy Carter: “Are you coming?”

Edwin Jarvis: “Me? In the vent?”

Peggy: “Isn’t that why you wore your recreational tie?”

What do you think?
