Ever since Deadpool exceeded all of our expectations at the box office, we have been craving more and more filthy-mouthed mutterings from the infamous Merc with a Mouth. And while we now know that a sequel to the heart-pumping superhero flick is definitely in the cards, we might as well ready ourselves for possibly even more movies featuring our favorite antihero, Wade Wilson. But first, relive his shenanigans in the trailer below:

News on the block is that the future is looking very bright for Deadpool indeed — a future that could even see the superhero taking a trip to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During a press day to promote the movie's DVD and Blu-ray release, director Tim Miller and producer Simon Kinberg touched on the possibility of seeing the superhero come face to face with none other than Spider-Man on the big screen. Miller revealed:

"Simon and I have been trying to build bridges."

To which, Kinberg added:

"I would love to see it. Both of us are close with [Marvel’s] Kevin [Feige], we respect and love Kevin. If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way ’cause we’d would love to see it."

He did remain cautious though, saying:

"I just don’t know if it would be possible."

This isn't the first time that the creators have spoken about possible cross-overs in the future. Recently, Kinberg also admitted:

"My favorite comic books in the old days used to be like DC vs. Marvel, Teen Titans vs. the X-Men or Teen Titans vs. New Mutants. Justice League vs. the Avengers. This could be something like that."

In the comic books, Deadpool is a total Spider-Man fangirl and they've even teamed up a few times in the past (much to Wade Wilson's overwhelming joy!). I don't know about you guys, but I think that a Spider-Man and Deadpool dream team would be an insanely awesome (not to mention hilarious) concept.

Would you be into it?
