An intriguing surveillance video has appeared online, featuring a man fighting for control over his own unruly arm as it tears apart a liquor store. The hapless owner, along with a dumbfounded onlooker, watch the distressed male as he tumbles through aisles and topples a shelf of wine.

The footage offers a few clues to its origin. For one, after cutting to black, it urges the viewer to '"Remember Panchaea," seemingly a reference to Deus Ex's fictional geo-engineering installation, destroyed at end of 2011's Human Revolution. The only survivor of that catastrophic event, fans will recall, was the game's augmented protagonist and all-round badass Adam Jensen, who's set to return in the upcoming sequel Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The video also reveals a domain -- -- which links to a site packed with plenty of hidden easter eggs that I'll let you discover for yourself.

It's a safe assumption, then, that the man in the surveillance video is himself mechanically augmented, which explains why his violently erratic appendage suddenly flips out. This can only be the work of the sinister Illuminati, pulling cybernetic strings from the shadows.

Mankind Divided, set two years after the events of Human Revolution, picks up with the aug crisis in full swing, as mechanically altered humans lose control of their bodies and become savagely violent. The cyberpunk-themed role-playing game, set for release on August 23, will no doubt feature aug-related catastrophes far more severe than a few spilt grapes.

Those who can't wait that long to get their hands on the game should head to to start digging for secrets!
