Marvel is gearing up for Civil War and they're giving us tidbits of information to satiate our curiosity. Robert Downey, Jr. was on Jimmy Kimmel and had these words to say:

When Downey was asked about the potential of seeing him in Spider-Man: Homecoming, this was his answer:

“Perhaps I will. We don’t have a contract yet.”

WHY?

There were a slew of different responses that he should have gave to Jimmy. This movie is so anticipated and he should have said 'We'll see, I might die?' By giving us this answer, he just guaranteed that he'll live to see Spidey in his solo movie. All right, I know that he could be lying, but it really bugs me!

It makes a lot of sense that he'll stop by and kick-it with the web-slinger! Personally, I would love to see a couple more cameos in the New Spider-Man movie -- just because he's finally came home and he's where he belongs! Also, RDJ, does not have the same type of contract that everyone else has. He could appear in any movie that he wants, with Marvel's permission. He makes an insane amount of money (he should) and that leads into another interesting topic!

Is it possible to recast any character and Marvel Studios would still be successful? This is something that I find immensely interesting. I wonder what you think about this topic!
