It's almost time for [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) and we can't wait to see how it will change Marvel's MCU in Phase 3! The other day, I started to think 'Who are the greatest heroes in the MCU?' I'm not talking about the most powerful, or the coolest hero that's appeared on film or television. This list is more about what heroes inspires us and serves a healthy dose of badassness in their adventures! Honestly, this was way harder than I imagined when I first thought of this doing this. Enjoy!

Here are the 10 greatest heroes in Marvel's MCU... so far!

10. Quake

Daisy Johnson is the most powerful hero on Agents of Shield and also an Inhuman. Some people could argue that Mockingbird, or Phil Coulson could be the best protagonist in a show that's full of heroes galore. Daisy's arc throughout the television show is the most drastic out of any character on ABC. She's fighting for a worthy cause and constantly must defend her beliefs to a world that's terrified about the unknown. I would love to see her have a chance to fight next to Captain America or even Daredevil. I am waiting to see her use her powers to the max and should make for amazing television!

9. The Punisher

I did not think Bernthal's Castle would resonate as much as it did emotionally with me. He was the standout in Daredevil's second season and with good reason. Also, is anyone else a tad disappointed that he won't be the next Wolverine now? He was uber-violent and made me believe that he could go toe-to-toe with any enhanced person -- he also seemed to have a supernatural tolerance to pain. After all the mysticism that was introduced in Daredevil -- it makes you wonder if there was something more to him coming back to life after that bullet?

8. Thor

He's one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. I almost didn't include him on this list, because, well, he's almost too powerful. Yet, with his tribulations in his first solo venture and the fact that I'm in love with Mjlonir. He's impossibly handsome and he's truly a mighty, awesome, Avenger. I would say more, but come on, he's Thor!

7. Falcon

He flew onto the scene in The Winter Soldier and made another appearance in Ant-Man. He should play a crucial role in Cap's Civil War and I cannot wait to see what they have in store from him. In the comics, he took over the shield for Cap, but I don't see that playing out in the movies. I admire loyalty and Sam Wilson is the epitome of a loyal friend (Cap too, of course!). I love to read Anthony Mackie's interviews and I'm sure that plays a part in the reason why he's on this list!

6. Scarlet Witch

Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlet Witch
Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlet Witch

OK, she hasn't done much, but she has one of the most intriguing backstories out of any of The Avengers. Her powers-level are still unknown and the tragedy that took place in Sokovia will leave a lasting impact. She's amazing and I can't wait to see what she does next! She stopped a friggin' train, with her mind (basically)!

5. Black Widow

Natasha Romanov could be considered an O.G. in Marvel's MCU! She started off as an assassin and now she's one of the key-members of The Avengers. After the events of The Winter Soldier, she was liberated from her red ledger and now she's free to do whatever she wants. The Russos said that she will have an important role in the events of Civil War and I am also curious on what part she'll play in Infinity War as well!

4. Iron Man

You knew Tony Stark would be on this list and deservedly so -- he's Marvel's pioneer in the MCU and lots more! The reviews say that his point-of-view comes off much better than it did in the comics (he was a douche). After his comments on Kimmel, one must wonder whose going to die in the movie. He said that he's game to be in Spider-Man: Homecoming -- first, he must talk numbers with Marvel. I love how he started off as playboy and now he's worried about the protection of this planet -- I can't wait to see him him in Infinity War talking trash to Thanos!

3. Daredevil

He's amazing as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. I enjoy his smaller-scale battles in New York, there will always be huge threats, but it's nice to know that someone's protecting the neighborhood! He's basically a human, but he fights like someone possessed by, well, a demon. He's unique in Marvel's pantheon of heroes, due his disability and I am still dreaming that one day he'll sit across from Jennifer Walters in court.

2. Ant-Man

This is the character that will make you go 'Does this guy even know what the f*ck he's talking about in this article?' He has access to potentially the greatest weapon on Earth in Pym Particles. I'll admit, I love Paul Rudd and he nailed Scott Lang's love for his daughter in his solo movie. Out of all The Avengers, he seems like the one that most closely resembles how we would act with these extraordinary powers. I'm glad that he's getting another movie with The Wasp and he's one of the character that I'm most excited to continue this adventure with!

I love all these characters, especially The Vision. Hulk is too Hulky and Black Panther has yet to officially debut. After I see Civil War, I'm sure Spider-Man will be top of my list and I'll probably have to rearrange it after the events of the movie. Also, I can't wait to see Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel -- Kevin Feige is without a doubt a superhero, not in the usual way one thinks of, but in the regards that he just made a lot of people's dream come true! Lastly, I love all these heroes and their's not one hero in the MCU that I currently dislike.

1. Captain America

Steve Rogers, aka, The First Avenger, The Star Spangled Man and our favorite patriot -- Captain America! He's heroism personified in the form of pecs, that would make a Greek God jealous! I think we sometimes forget that he was an icicle for a very long time. This is a man who was born in a much simpler time, when all he had to do was kill Nazis, instead of trying to save a city falling from the sky. I hope he doesn't die at the end of the movie and I've been trying to stay away from all spoilers -- especially since Downey's comments about appearing in the new Spider-Man movie. Out of all the other Avengers, Steve Rogers inspires me to be a better person and that's why he topped my list of the greatest characters in Marvel's MCU!

The more I think about Batman v Superman, the more I feel like DC let me down with a movie that should have rocked my world. I know that they're in their infancy and I'm still psyched to see Suicide Squad, but Marvel has earned the most important thing from us (the fans) -- our trust. Marvel's lineup of movies should be astounding and they're killing it on the television-side as well. I think we're all a tad spoiled by Marvel and I hope I can say that for many more phases in their wonderfully crafted cinematic universe!
