Ever since being struck into the limelight at a young impressionable age, Selena Gomez has been very open about the effect fame has had on her personal life -- whether it's the impact on her self-esteem, the difficulty of maintaining a high-profile relationship or her struggles with Lupus, she's really covered it all. And now, in an exclusive interview with GQ, she's been as bold as ever once again.
Speaking about growing up as a child star, she said:
“I didn’t have an opportunity to figure out my life without people having an opinion every step of the way.”
However, don't get her wrong, she's far from complaining. Selena went on to say:
“I chose this. So I’m not gonna sit here and say, ‘Oh, my God, poor me, I didn’t have a normal childhood.’ I don’t give a f--k about that.”
So there you go! Stop hassling Selena because she's clearly eager to use expletives to prove just how few f*cks she has to give.
And although the pop star and actress has spoken about her struggles with fame in the past, it appears she has accepted the lot that a life in the limelight brings.
