I have a comic book coming out soon. I also tweet a lot about comics @KurtArthur12.

It's a great time to be fan of comic books! [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) is expected to change the MCU and I cannot wait to see how! I think Marvel created a universe that could be sustained for a much longer period than people realize, or give credit. In the comics department, Marvel is leading the industry with a vast array of diverse characters that will be extremely important in ten-years from now. Let me say this: I am a fan of both Marvel and DC's characters and I want to see them both succeed in every facet of the entertainment industry.

Now, let's get to the actual point of my article and remember -- I'm asking you if this would make Marvel's MCU better? I've been binge-watching DC's animated ventures and they're absolutely amazing! I especially love Young Justice and the New 52's Justice League movies. I really wish that DC would have made Batman more like when he's with Damian in Son of Batman and Batman vs Robin. I love how he's still a mysterious vigilante, but it showcases that he has a heart of gold. These versions of Batman makes me love him even more and I didn't think that was possible!

Marvel already puts out animated shows on Disney XD and they're steadily increasing in maturity per season. Yet, they're very still childish and the ten-people who might read this are thinking 'Kurty, animated shows are for kids.' They are and they're not -- it's important to tackle more mature subject matter so the kids don't feel like they're being talked down to in a manner that could be considered condescending. With Marvel's partnering with Netflix, this could allow for some awesome animated features to further enhance their universe. I know Marvel has no need for this with all their popularity and success, but this would be awesome to see! Let's take a look on what we could see in a more mature Marvel's Animated Universe on Netflix.

There have been some movement on a Black Widow movie recently from Kevin Feige! Yet, I don't see this happening, not even in Phase 4. The biggest question I would have if Marvel ever decided to make their universe as awesome as humanly possible; should they go with television series, or movies? The Red Ledger would be an awesome movie to finally give fans answers to her origin and would be a perfect starting point to their animated universe. If Marvel Television would ever play ball with Marvel Studios, then we would all be in for a real treat!

I'm almost done with the first season of Young Justice and I still cannot believe how amazing that show was. I didn't see numerous twists coming and I was utterly shocked when Miss Martian turned out to be a SPOILER. Now, they already have Avengers Assemble on Disney XD and having two sets of them would be kinda repetitive. It would be awesome to see some heroes that wouldn't normally have a chance, shine on Netflix. I would also love to see a group of young heroes take center stage for Marvel. Ultimate Spider-Man kind of does this, but the show still is way too kiddie for my taste -- even though as of late, it's getting much better in that department! I would love to see Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Sam Alexander, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Silk, and many more. This would be awesome to see and keep it just like Young Justice!

Now, the cinematic universe takes all the best ones, but there are still so many more they could do. DC just released Justice League vs Teen Titans and it was phenomenal -- along with Justice League: War, Justice League: Thrones of Atlantis, and Batman: Under the Red Hood.Marvel could release two animated features throughout the year and I guarantee you, people would be stoked!

You could do House of M, Old Man Logan, Armored Wars, Secret Wars (2015), and so many more. See, Marvel still owns the television rights to the characters that Fox owns the cinematic rights to. I don't see Marvel doing this because it would give unwanted exposure to Fox and Marvel Studios is trying to get back certain properties (Galactus and Silver Surfer), I think? I say this because I watch all those shows on Disney XD and they used to have mutants and the Fantastic Four appear -- and now they only use properties that Marvel Studios own. I still think this could be a possibility in the future, if both sides will play ball.

I still cannot figure out the outcry when women are cast in lead roles in certain movies. Recently, there are fans moaning about another female lead in Star Wars. I love these movies and I could care less what gender they decide to go with as the lead protagonist. Daisy Ridley killed it as Rey and I'm sure Felicity Jones would do just as well!

If Marvel dedicates an animated show to their best females heroes and deliver a solid piece of storytelling -- then I believe this would help garner even better press from the media! Now, I don't think they should do this for that reason. I would love to see all of Marvel's pantheon of female heroes on the small screen fighting threats together. To be honest, I don't know why Disney XD doesn't do this. That show doesn't need to be gritty and I'm sure all genders would watch that show!

Sadly, this probably won't ever happen because Marvel's MCU is so damn awesome! This all is just a fan's pipe dream, because of my love for the DCAU. Animation affords the studio to go directions that normally would be frowned upon in live-action, due to a vast list of reasons. I know that we're spoiled, but maybe when Marvel's profits starts to dwindle, then maybe this could become a possibility (they won't for a very long time)! Until then, we'll just have to settle for Captain America: Civil War in theaters on May 6th in the United States!
