As Captain America: Civil War approaches, fans are getting more excited. With so many characters and plot lines, it may be hard to keep track of all that will be going on in the movie. One character who has gone under the radar in the buzz surrounding the film is Vision. Captain America: Civil War has many opportunities to improve Vision, including character development and upgrading his suit.

Check out a video of Paul Bettany, the actor who plays Vision, talking about Vision's character development:

First, there is the opportunity for character development simply because more time has passed. At the time of his "birth" in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision is essentially a newborn. He is still developing his view on humanity and discovering his abilities. All of these unique elements allow for interesting storytelling. Since Captain America: Civil War will be taking place after Vision has had some time to live, we should get to see how he views the world. It should be very interesting to see if thinks humanity is inherently good or bad. Also, it should be interesting to see if his loyalty lies with Tony Stark (Iron Man).

Next, T'Challa (Black Panther), who will be introduced to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, has the opportunity to improve Vision's body, which is made of vibranium and synthetic tissue.

T'Challa is the king of Wakanda, a nation with the largest deposits of vibranium in the world. As such, he has access to this material and expertise in manipulating it. Like Vision, T'Challa is on Team Iron Man, so they should be working together. There is certainly an opportunity for T'Challa to improve Vision's his body and suit and/or give him new abilities. This would make Vision more exciting and make him a more formidable superhero in upcoming MCU movies.

Finally, Vision can flesh out his romance with Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch). At the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, there were hints that the two superheroes would get together. This could be very interesting to watch, especially considering that they fall on different sides of the Iron Man vs. Captain America fight. It will also be interesting to see if Wanda has any reservations with being in a romance with an android.
