Noah Cyrus is a name you would usually hear uttered in the same breath as older sister Miley, but that is all about to change. Miley's baby sister is all grown up and, at the age of 16, she is ready to make her mark on the music industry.
Here she is with Miley at The Last Song premiere when she was just 10.
And here she is just a few months ago at PETA's 35th Anniversary party in LA.
In a new interview with Paper magazine, Noah shares one of her earliest musical memories: learning harmonies with her famous father, Billy Ray. She revealed:
"My dad always had me sing alongside him while he played guitar. He taught me how to harmonize to an old song of his, 'Missing You.'"
Noah will follow in pretty much her entire family's footsteps if she goes on to make a career out of music; alongside Miley and Billy Ray, her other older siblings, Trace (Metro Station) and Brandi (Frank + Derol), are also established musicians.
The budding star told Paper that she is already at work penning tunes for not only herself but other artists too. She continued:
"Writing is the best way to get your mind clear. It's also a great way to explain your past or what you hope for the future."
Noah also divulged that when she isn't busy writing or being part of one of America's most famous families, she likes to spend her time horse riding or playing the piano. You can check out her badass photo shoot for the magazine below.
I don't know about you, but I'm both intrigued and pretty excited to hear Noah's sound. There are no specific details yet, but with her genes we're bound to be in for a tuneful treat.
