The following ladies have always been something special, even before they were famous. That's how they won that highest of high school honors: the Homecoming Queen crown.
1. Rosie O'Donnell
O'Donnell's success started early in life, as she was elected not only Homecoming Queen, but also Senior Class President and Class Clown at Commack High School in New York.
2. Dakota Fanning
Alright, so she wasn't exactly a regular high school girl. The Twilight star already had quite a few credits under her belt by the time she joined the Homecoming Court in 2009 — and then won the coveted crown the following year.
And here's a picture of her as a flyer on the cheerleading squad — because if Dakota's going to get in a human pyramid, she's definitely going to be on the top.
3. Sissy Spacek
It's nice to know that Carrie got at least one high school formal that didn't end in pig's blood and death. Spacek earned the crown at Quitman High School in Quitman, Texas back in 1968 — eight years before her less popular film character.
4. Robin Wright
The Princess Bride was royalty even before she hit the big screen. She was named homecoming queen at La Jolla High School in La Jolla, CA in 1981.
5. Heather Morris
Glee's dancing queen has always been lovable and popular. Just ask her classmates from Desert Mountain High School, who voted for her back in 2005.
6. Rashida Jones
The Parks And Rec star looks regal atop her throne back in 1993 at Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, CA.
7. Jessica Simpson
Daisy Duke may not have finished high school, but that didn't stop her from getting elected Homecoming Queen not once, but twice at J.J. Pearce High School in the '90s.
8. Taraji P. Henson
Back in 1988, the students at Oxon Hill High School in Maryland knew that Henson was going to grow up to be a Person Of Interest, and that's why they voted her queen.
