It Seems A Widely Anticipated Character Isn't In 'Civil War' After All
(and this is where those aforementioned SPOILERS really start to kick in...)
...it seems that we won't be seeing a certain close personal associate of Tony Stark when Captain America: Civil War hits theaters in just a matter of days.
Yup, that's right:
Pepper Potts Will Not Be Appearing In 'Captain America: Civil War'
As The Wrap recently confirmed, Gwyneth Paltrow didn't end up returning to the role of Pepper Potts in Civil War, despite extensive rumors a few months back that she would do so, following reports that she had taken part in reshoots for the movie.
Which, while a shame — it certainly would have been nice to have seen Pepper pop in to berate Tony Stark for being a jerk at some point — makes a fair amount of sense. After all, with half a bajillion characters already confirmed for the movie, throwing Pepper into the mix would likely have been a little much.
